My question involves criminal law for the state of: Nevada
My question is on my friends search warrant it says, to any peace officer in the county of Washoe. His place was searched by California and an FBI agent from Sacramento, I know that Nevada does not recognize federal agents as peace officers. Would there had to of been peace officers from Washoe county for the search warrant to be lawful. Or because California did the affidavit for the search warrant for residence through Nevada Court, does that make it okay? Also can a officer from another state read you your rights and question you when in a different state?
