My question involves criminal law for the state of: Oregon
My SS is currently facing charges and is in a juvenile detention center. Measure 11 is being applied to his case and the DA is looking to charge him as an adult.
At this point, he is still a minor and somehow the newspaper got a hold of this information. They ran a story in the paper and disclosed his full name. Is this legal?
Given that he was a minor, I would have thought his identity would be protected.
