My question involves real estate located in the State of: Illinois. My neighbor installed a fence on my property, proven by survey, code says it is supposed to be 1 foot inside of the property line. So technically he is 3 feet in violation of the code. I live in a small town and the Mayor has informed them that they must move the fence but, no action has been taken. So my question is since the fence is on my property can I remove it?
