My question involves juvenile law in the State of: Illinois
A couple weeks ago, I used my step-dad's credit card and made some purchases(I did not steal his card. He gave it to me, but I didn't have his consent to purchase).
When my parents found out, my step-dad (who is currently out of town) forgave me after I returned everything and promised I would never do it again. But my mom was furious, she beat me repeatedly(kicked me and hit me with a stick), tore apart my clothes and told me that she would not let me go to high school again and would not allow me to continue my application to college(along with other punishments). She also threatened to call the police to put me in jail.
I know I shouldn't have done what I did but I still want to go to school and go to college. I don't want to get into any trouble. Is there anything I can do?
Also I don't have any relative that I can turn to.
