My question involves a driver's license issued by the State of: Texas
On the way to a church function we were pulled over. Officer said hubby was doing 68 in a 55. Not true. There was a car directly behind us, one directly to the right of us and another vehicle directly in front of us. The office was going the opposite direction from us but made a Uturn and stopped us. Long story short, he gave my hubby a ticket for speeding and No DL and me a ticket for "permitting unauthorized person to drive". Very very pissd off! Why do I get a citation?The vehicle is 100% his as it is mine. His name is on EVERY SINGLE DOCUMENT as is mine. Furthermore we are married. What am I to do? Call the cops and say my husband is driving our vehicle without my permission? Am I to fight with him over the keys? Like really. Very very aggravated. I'm 36 yrs old, been driving since I was 17 and only receive 2tickets in my driving life. No headlights on which I fought and won, and no complete stop at stop sign..paid it. How the heck can I tell a grown man he can't drive his own vehicle? How can I beat this ?
