My question involves a traffic ticket from the state of: Washington
I received a "Red Light Photo Enforcement Ticket" but for speeding in a School Zone for the City of Seattle. I had received a similar ticket last year, albeit not in a school zone and for a typical red light. My issue is that I was not driving on the first offense and filed a non-responsibility form and the ticket was resolved.
- My question is: Since I was not driving at the time of the ticket (for the second time) am I still able to submit a non-responsibility form even though I had one recently? Can you submit two within 6 months? I don't know if they require you to go into court to mitigate the ticket or if they will handle it the same way as the last ticket.
- My second question is that there are 3 people listed on the vehicle registration. Do all 3 need to sign the non-responsibility form or will 1 person be sufficient? It's under my name as well as my parents (they were obviously not driving at the time) and I wouldn't like to involve them.
I also do not own this car any longer and would like to resolve it as soon as possible. Please let me know if you have any helpful info on how to proceed.
