I would like to know whether there is a standard formula for deciding cash payout of future medical and also is it always advisable to retain a lawyers services with respect to the fees charged by them?
I'm guessing that by my asking this, it is obvious that I am in need of advice but do not know whether counsel is needed if there is some form of guideline available. I am currently negotiating with insurance company but do not want to lowball myself which I fear is likely.
