My question involves labor and employment law for the state of: Illinois
I was asked to sign performance agreement at same time a new sales program came out that directly affected sales performance. New program involved re-alignment of accounts in which new sales volume was removed from my book of business. Currently, my performance far exceeds sales quota and will trend same for rest of year. I was asked to sign due to lack of future current contract sales. If performance goals are not met due to restructuring of accounts and I am on target to meet this years sales quota can I be fired for not meeting performance agreement?
