My question involves real estate located in the State of: California
Hello,
I inherited a residential property. The spouse has a lifetime right of occupancy. Nothing is spelled out in the trust as to who pays for property expenses, such as repairs that need to be done. I understand the lifetime occupant pays for the property taxes.
So who pays for repairs to the property if they need to be done ?
Thanks!
