My question involves independent contractors in the state of: Kentucky/nationally
So, I am an employee for an company that then contracts us out to other companies for IT work. I am paid by wages hourly from my hiring company, not on a 1099.
There is a clause in the contract that states the company I work for must let me know the status of the end of my contract before there are less than 30 days remaining on it. My contract to work is up on April 31st and they have violated this clause before with other contractors that I work with. I am curious if I have any legal recourse for damages for them not telling me or my parent company the status of my contract before the next 7 days is up?
