My question involves a consumer law issue in the State of:Puerto Rico
The car and car loan is under a relative's name, but I have been making payments for two years so far. He does not want to provide any bank documents stating how much is left to pay the car. He says there are two years left. I want to get a personal loan and pay off the car so he can transfer the title name to me. The problem is that he does not want to provide any documents in order for me to pay off the car. The biggest mistake I have made is not save all the receipts of the payments I have been making. What should I do? He only asks that I keep making the payments, but he insist he will not show me any bank documents about the car loan.
