My ex-husband was court ordered to keep his life insurance until our son is 18-for college expenses. I am the beneficiary. My tax accountant says that I have to 'claim' my ex-husbands monthly premiums as income to me. This just seems wrong. I don't benefit from his monthly payments, it is not income to me
