My question involves personal property located in the State of: Illinois
I didn't know where to post this, but I'm seeking any advice someone can offer.
I own a condo, and have had issues with my direct wall sharing neighbor for years. They have now put up multiple security cameras on their balcony, one of which is pointed directly into my living room, which is visible through my sliding door and wall of windows. Is this legal for them to record this? I live in Chicago. It feels like a huge invasion of privacy, not to mention having a small daughter it really creeps me out knowing they can see into our unit. Do I have any legal resource here? I have gone to the association board asking for a legal ruling but have yet to hear back.
