Security Deposits: Is Last Months Rent Refundable Prorated in Case of Breach of Agreement

My question involves landlord-tenant law in the State of: FLORIDA
I received a notice of eviction due to disputes within the condominium. I was paying my rental in time wothout delays.
My rental agreement was running till May.
I moved out end of January
I had deposited
(a) 1 month rental as security and
(b) 1 month for the last month's rental

The landlord advised me today (Febr08, i.e. 5+8 days= 13days after I moved out) that the condo has been leased to a new tenant.
The landlord wants to return the (a) 1 month rental security, but
he refuses to return the prorated amount of the (b) Last months rental, because I broke the agreement.

Based on above, I understand that he hasn't suffered any financial harm finally.

Am I not entitled to receive the prorated balance of the last month's rental?
