Protective Order and Relocating Out of State

I have had a protective order against my ex husband since 2012 and have renewed it ever since, even after he got out of prison. My job in VA is ending and I am not able to find a job that is best suitable for my child and I and I was offered a position in CO making more, allowing us to live comfortably. I already submitted a notice to relocate to the court and let my ex husband’s mother know of the move. Prior to applying for a new protective order, my lawyer told me that most likely my ex husband have the upper hand if he objects, but he didn’t. He hasn’t tried to amend the protective order, the custody and visition where it states that I have sole legal and physical custody of my child, Nor the order of child support, which he has never paid. He’s been out of prison for 14 months now and knowing that he can amend any of those, he hasn’t. He’s never tried to have a relationship with his child either. Will my notice be granted being that there’s a protective order in place and there’s history of domestic abuse towards my child and I?
