Hi, my ex wife/kids mother applied for SSDI about 4-5 years ago for schitzoaffective disorder and some other physical medical problems (after affects of steven johnson syndrome)
2 years ago it went before an ALJ and she was denied. She appealed at the federal appeals board and the board sent it back to the ALJ with a letter stating that the ALJ failed to take into account her medical issues (which is stupid cuz thats why she applied for SSDI in the first place)
So this past may she had another hearing in front of the ALJ. She still hasnt heard anything back yet.
Im wondering how long these things take. I thought it was 90 days to get a decision? Im wondering because my kids and me will recieve a very sizeable retropay...like 700 a month since she applied.
