My question involves business law in the state of: Indiana
My county recently passed a new ordinance that regulates my business and changed the paperwork requirements from a legal guardian being able to sign for a minor to needing both parents present. I dont know of any other situation requiring 2 parents to be present for anything to happen for a minor. It only takes one legal guardians signature for anything else.
Our state law requires 1 legal guardians signature but explicitly allows for county Health Departments to enact their own requirements and ordinances. I was told I would basically need to get the Health Department to change their mind and I was wondering if anyone else had any ideas or suggestions. I tried a local lawyer, but they were certainly less than optimistic that they would be able to help me.
