My question involves criminal records for the state of: Alabama
I plead guilty to some theft charges, and I just wanted to know would I be able to get a pardon, and if I was granted the pardon would I be able to get a job as a correctional officer. That is something I really want to do. I know I can past the test that they have. They also do fingerprinting so how would that work if I was able to get a pardon? Would my record show up in the system? My case worker says her friend has been in all kind of trouble, and that she was a Deputy at the county jail. I told her to ask how did she get in the field with a criminal record. Her so called friend claims she got a pardon. But I don’t believe it. Someone please enlighten me.
