My question involves landlord-tenant law in the State of: Minnesota
So I have released my roommate from her lease by signing a form and the release date I wrote Jan 1st. Today is Jan 3rd and she still lives there. How long does the process take up to usually to get it approved? I have already found a roommate and she has filled up an application and everything and the only thing that's left to do is to sign a new lease. I called main office and asked how long it takes and the lady said that the process has to go through credit company if I heard it right. I want to know from the experts. Also, once it gets approved can she still live there or she is obligated to vacate the premises? Please I would really appreciate some advice. Thanks.
