My question involves a traffic ticket from the state of: California. I was travelling in Golden gate park on the park presidio bypass at 5am and as I stopped at Fulton drive a police car that was parked up on the side of the road went behind me pulling me over. The officer used lidar radar and said I was speeding. It was a curving road and said he clocked me 493 feet away. I did not feel I was over 35 mph nor was a speed sign posted. The was a truck speeding on the left side of me that the officer said he didn't see. Could he have gotten the wrong car?. It was very dark out with a winding road. Visability was impaired as it had rained off and on. Is it worth contesting this ticket or just paying fine and traffic school. Thank you.
