Hi, There are so many forums on this site that I'm not sure where this post belongs. There are other forums here that this question could be posted in.
This is really a short account of what happened to me, along with my question. My Social Security account was entered by someone, along with IRS/Credit accounts, and the information spread across social media. I know who the person is that's responsible for this, but I don't know the exact person that was used to enter my account.
This has ruined my life as well as this being a felony that someone committed against me. The person responsible is a very wealthy guy, I mean really wealthy. It should be easy to find out who entered as you need a password to enter and everything is recorded of who entered. I know the time period of when the crime was committed.
I've notified the Inspector General of Soc Sec, and never heard back. I contacted the FBI and never heard back. I contacted the FTC identiy theft division, but never heard back. The person who did this should be stopped from ever doing this to anyone else. These are actual multiple felonies along with libel. I also contacted the Federal prosecutor, but I don't think emailing govt offices is the way to handle this.
I can't pay for some big lawsuit, but I'm wondering if anything can be done. This should be easy in finding out who was in there, and I wouid know who did it, and then go from there. The is a self-admitted sociopath that has a long police record for harassing people. This is available on the internet, and there certainly is money available from a civil suit.
