My question involves a traffic ticket from the state of: Alabama
My brother had several tickets for driving on suspended license over ten years ago. So five years ago the court told him that he could do 30 days in jail and it would wipe out all of his tickets. Well he did that and he spent the last five years paying back fees and court cost. When he went to pay his reinstatement fee the county courthouse of Madison county said oh we have a ticket that slipped through the cracks and sorry that you spent time in jail but now you still have to pay 500.00 more before we can clear you to get your license. Any advice as to what he can do?
