My question involves a traffic ticket from the state of: Los Angeles, California.
All:
It has been YEARS since I've gotten a ticket. I actually didn't even know what i was pulled over for until I received the ticket. A motorcycle cop pulled me over on a clear day no traffic and bam, 8 over and cites me for a 70 in a 65. I was so astonished I couldn't even speak, literally.
The whole way home I thought, is it even legal to cite such a low number? And since it likely is, what kind of judge or prosecutor would take this seriously? I am hoping the latter is right and I can take it to court and just state my case as is, unbelievable. No wonder cops have such a bad rap.
If anyone has any other suggestions, I'd appreciate the input.
Thank you all.
