Transfer of Title: Misrepresentaion of Odometer Mileage on Title

My question involves a consumer law issue in the State of: Ohio. I purchased a used corvette from a dealer ibecause of this n 2004. I recently went to trade it in for a newer model but when the dealer {different than original) ran a carfax it showed that the car when purchased actually had 40000 miles more than shown on the title. This is causing a huge problem in that no one will now want to buy my corvette because of the huge discrepancy on the title vs the carfax. It was also in an accident which was not revealed. That old dealer went out of business a few years ago due to bankruptcy but i have tracked down that owner and he he now operating another car business. He has been accused of falsification of engine block numbers on restored corvettes and several other people are looking for this guy. My question is to I have any legal action i can take against this guy since he was shown as the owner of the previous business and that business is shown on the title. His wife was the one who was driving the car at the time I purchased it. All I want is for this guy to purchase my car back based on the market value of the car with the mileage shown. If he refuses can I take legal action. Thanks.
