My question involves landlord-tenant law in the State of: Utah
Our state law says, the landlord has to return the deposit and list of itemized deductions 30 days after move out. My landlord and I have a discrepancy over when the start of that 30 days is. If I am right, it will be a difference of $100 in my favor. Does anyone know when the 30 days starts? Is it the day you move out, or the day after? I have seen both listed.
