Adoption of Children: Step Father Adoption

My question involves adoption law for the State of: Connecticut and New York I've been married for 8 years nows i known my husband since I was six months pregnant at the time I was at the time I was 25 and was having fun so I was messing around with 3 guys one I tested he's not the father the other two side said from start they didn't want to be apart of the baby so I never heard from them again so fastward to I'm now six months pregnant and I meet this man who I start to date and fall in love I had my son in May of 2008 and in December we got married and been together ever since he's the only father my son knows he's been to ever Dr appointment since I was six months and the other two guys I don't know if they dead or alive I tried when my son was one to see if they wanted a DNA test but they declined and I haven't heard from them since 2009 and it is now 2016 going on 2017 my husband been there since birth and three years ago we moved to Connectitcut but we still work in New York so can he legally adopt our son since the other two knew about the baby and wanted no parts of him what can we do for my husband to legally adopted him or can he just sign his birth certificate since it was never signed an
