My question involves a traffic ticket from the state of: Georgia
Yesterday (Sunday, Sept 18, 2016), I got pulled over for speeding 23 over the stated speed limit. In my defense, I was new to the area and had never been there before... And on top of that, there was no speed sign on the road. I went ahead and looked on google maps (where/nearby I was pulled over) and found that there too were no signs stating the speed limit.
This is my first time ever getting any kind of infarction and I don't know what to do. I could pay the speeding ticket (after I get it), but would have to face the points on my driver's record. However, I think it was unfair how I was the only car on the road and there were no speed signs that I could follow.
What do I do?
