My question involves a consumer law issue in the State of: CA.
1) I signed an agreement without financing (Sat, 9/17/16) because they couldn't contact lenders on the weekend. My husband put the 10 % ($5000) down payment on his credit card.
2) They found financing (Mon, 9/19/16) and said the down payment would have to change to only $3800 ( a refund of $1200) because I needed the loan to be at a certain level to qualify for financing. I verbally accepted.
3) I haven't signed loan documents yet. I am supposed to sign tomorrow (Fri, 9/23/16).
4) My husband and I are now getting a divorce and I can't afford the RV loan and qualify for housing (rental or purchase) with the RV loan.
5) I left the dealership a message stating this.
6) What are my liabilities concerning the RV loan since I haven't signed loan documents and I would not have been able to take possession until 9/30/16 anyway?
Thank you!
