My question involves a consumer law issue in the State of: Texas
So I'll try to keep this short. My truck gets repo'ed. I pay Ford Motor Credit off and they say I'm good to pick it up. Drive to the company that did the repossesion and they make me sign a paper before they pull it up which I thought was odd. Pull up my truck and it has different wheels and tires on it. I have aftermarket wheels and tires on my 2015 F150 to add to the off road look. They were not super cheap, right around $3,500 for the set of everything. So I tell them look, these aren't mine, give me mine back. They say yes they are, trying to give me the run around when it is literally a different brand of wheel and tire that is on my truck and a different size wheel and tire. So it's super obvious. What can I do to these people? So far they offered me like $1500 basically to leave them alone. Which won't fly with me, so I got the police involved and now I'm waiting for the status of that. In the meantime I'm renting cars so I can get to work and live my life AND paying $800/mo for a truck I'm not driving that is sitting in their lot. What can I do?
