My husband and I needed money so we decided to get a reverse mortgage. I was not yet 62 so I signed a Quit Claim deed with the assurance that I could be added on when I turned 62. Because of a law that was passed I am eligible to stay in the home if my husband passes before me. The company that the reverse mortgage was sold to advised me that I have the Quit Claim deed undone and have my husband add me back to the title. How can I undo the Quit Claim deed or will we need an attorney to do it for us?
