Yesterday I called a locksmith for assistance with an ignition key need. After discussing the rate for service the technician asked for a piece of ID. I showed her my drivers license and I think she used her personal cell phone to take a photo of my license. It did not register until later that she was doing that so I did not protest at the time, but I would not have authorized that. I am of course now concerned about what is being done with that photograph. Was her behavior legal?
