My question involves labor and employment law for the state of: PA.
My FBI rap sheet shows no dispositions of arrests (misdemeanors that have nothing to do with child care) from the state of CA back in 2002, 2004 and 2005.
(I have been unemployed and not needed a background check.)
My employer at a day care has given me 30 days to obtain a final disposition. I have been working there for almost a year! BTW I am well-qualified as I have a Masters in Eduction from an Ivy League school.
I Sent a notarized letter to Records and Identification Bureau, Correspondence Unit in Los Angeles to request final dispositions. No response as of yet.
I paid an attorney 1200 to help me and he has ignored me.
I feel like it's up to me to change the FBI record but I dont know where to turn to next. I am applying to work as a substitute teacher and I would like to get this cleared up ASAP. Time is of the essence.
