My question involves real estate located in the State of: Colorado.
I bought my home 3 years ago with no easements found by the Title company. Last year, my sewer backed up, and lo and behold, they found my neighbor's line tied into mine. I had the sewer people fix both their side and mine and asked my neighbor to pay half. No deal. They said I had no proof that the line fixed was theirs. Can I legally cap it off? That way, if their side plugs up, then I can go to small claims and have them pay half or sue them to remove their line.
Any advice you share is greatly appreciated!
Thanks!
