My question involves estate proceedings in the state of: Washington
My sister is currently acting as Power of Attorney for my mother and has full control over her fiduciary affairs. She, I, and my brother are beneficiaries of my mother's trust/estate. My brother and I have requested that my sister provide bank statements so that we can be sure she is not mishandling my mother's affairs while acting as POA. She has refused to do this and from what I've read she is in the right.
When my mother passes away, POA ends and my sister will become trustee. I believe we are then entitled to certain information and a full accounting. Can we also request at that time a full accounting from the period when she acted as POA ? Sincere TIA.
