My husband took my last name when we got married. On the birth certificate it asks for my maiden name which is obviously the same as my married name. However it got me wondering am I supposed to put my husbands current legal name on the birth certificate or is it supposed to be his "maiden" name. The child will obviously have our current last name not my husbands "maiden" name.
