Disputing Debts: Uhaul Not Releasing a Supposed Debt from Long Ago

My question involves collection proceedings in the State of: Minnesota

Many years ago I had rented a uhaul truck for moving. Upon returning the truck to them they charged my Credit card with more than what I presumed they would.

Upon talking to them over the phone about this they admitted that they were in error in their calculations and overcharged me $70 yet I cannot recall any discussion about if they were going to refund me.

Along with this they had introduced new charges for stuff that was not even in the truck, like a two wheeled handtruck.. some call them "dolleys".. and blankets with straps I think. and cleaning. (We had swept it out).

When I talked to my bank about this my bank reversed that $70 back to me.

Since then I have gone to uhaul for a truck rental and right off the bat they are adding this $70 onto the fee, so I went elsewhere for a truck.

Now I am in the middle of nowhere, need a garage to put my stuff in and the nearest one is only five miles away, but yet, it is a uhaul facility...

How does this work when your bank "passes judgement" for you and refunds you? yet the company in error - uhaul - refuses to own up to their own error?

I have never received a collection notice, what can I do to get this "erased" ?

Thanks!
