My question involves a child custody case from the State of: Florida. My ex and I have agreed to him having our daughter every other weekend and a few hours once a week day night every week. Our daughter is 2 years old. My ex wants to have this schedule and then rotate school breaks on top of this. He wants her one week during winter break and 4 weeks during the summer. We have not finalized anything yet but before we do I would like to know how this effects child support. If we just keep the every other weekend straight through the year, he only has her fri and sat nights. I am aware that the number of overnights effects support. Adding these weeks when she is in school will increase his overnights. Will there be an adjustment in the child support? Is this standard to still rotate school breaks even when there is an every other week schedule?
