My question involves criminal records for the state of: Michigan
To start this off I just need to say that I am not exactly sure which forum I should of put this in. So here is my question: can I become a police officer, even though I have been expelled from high school? I am currently a sophomore and I want to become a police officer. Last year I got expelled for a school threat (which I wasn't serious about obviously), I do not believe it went on my record (I don think I got a felony or misdemeanor from it) as police were not involved. I was able to go to another school right away. I am and have always been a straight A student. So from this information, can I become an officer? Feel free to ask any further questions as I want the best possible answer. If I can become an officer how should I go about doing it?
