My question involves a marriage in the state of: Alabama
Married 27yrs with two children and nothing else in common. Conditions became unbearable and tempers were tested. My husband threatened bodily harm forcing me to relocate. He has since changed locks and made it impossible for me to return to collect my things claiming I "abandoned" them! He's cut off communication and I haven't filed yet but, will this be the only way to re-enter "our" home again? I'm living in a place I can't afford, I have a disability and our children are moving from place to place because of his less than pleasant disposition. There was no physical assault this time but, he has a history which freightened us. The threat was reported but, if we are from place to place, why is he the only one in the house comfortably resting? I need answers or direction-SOON! The stress is overwhelming the family and I'm trying to keep it together for all of us, work and manage my illness. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
