My question involves landlord-tenant law in the State of: California
My boyfriend, friend, another couple and I recently signed a 6 month lease on a house. We All haven't even moved in yet. But we did put up a 2000 security deposit.The other couple are upset because my boyfriend and I got the master bedroom (ridiculous, I know.) Well they have gotten so upset, that they don't want to move in, at all anymore. We move in in 2 days... So they are trying to screw us over by saying that they will not pay rent when its due in 2 days, and that they refuse to find someone to cover their room/part of the lease. What can we do/what can the landlord do?! HELP.:confused:
