Unemployment Benefits: What Happens After Your Initial Unemplyment Claim Expires

My question involves labor and employment law for the state of: Arkansas

I got a notice that i had to go in to file a new claim to keep it active. is this basically getting an extension? I'm in the state of Arkansas and I've been getting benefits for 6 months. i have been working 1 day a week for a while, since like September, and 40 hours or more this past week due to my employer (through a temp agency) needing some extra help. Will this make my unemployment go down in amount? I have been reporting my hours and wages weekly
