My question involves criminal law for the state of: Pennsylvania
On March 5, 2016, I finally threw my abusive ex out for good. I have a witness to him attacking and the police were called. However, they only mentioned a hotline for domestic violence victims and a temporary restraining order. Being in a daze, pressing charges didn't even cross my mind until a few days later when things set in. I honestly just want to move on, but I can't help but think that someone got away with putting their hands on a woman. Is it too late to press charges? There's a good chance he fled the state and went back to Georgia.
