Looking for some insight.
In 1990 I re-appeared in a Colorado Springs court for not having done 24 hours of community service (consequence of a DUI); I paid my fines but didn't do the service. The judge ordered me to do it, but (yes, I know, stupid) I didn't and moved back to Australia. At the time I had a green card and was just finishing my term in the US Army.
What I would like to know is: if I fly back into LAX later this year using my Australian passport, will the national system NCIC indicate to Customs/Immigration that I be detained? I read some advice from 'cdwjava' on an old post that, "... lesser offenses are not likely to be entered into NCIC because the jurisdiction may not be willing to go through the expense and logistical effort of extraditing someone from even a couple of counties away - much less, halfway across the country. The entering agency will indicate on the entry or as a result of the confirmation process whether they will extradite or not."
Would the (presumably minor) nature of my warrant mean that it is shared interstate or federally?
Thanks to anyone who has some clear guidance.
