Speeding Tickets: Can You Use a GPS Tracker in a Vehicle to Prove That You Weren't Speeding

My question involves a speeding traffic ticket from the state of: Texas

I use a company vehicle that has a GPS tracker that records my speed and location at all times. I was ticketed in a small town where the officer claims that he used radar to track my speed going 54 MPH in a 40 MPH zone. I explained that he made a mistake that I have company GPS to back me up. He didn't want to listen and wrote me a citation. When I spoke to the prosecuting attorney, I showed her my evidence showing my speed and location of my vehicle during the time I was allegedly speeding. I asked for dismissal and she said no that I will have to go to trial or enter a nolo or guilty plea. What will happen if I try to use this evidence? I was told by a friend that this evidence will be dismissed and not allowed in court. Is that true? If so, why?

I appreciate your reply.
