My question involves a child custody case from the State of: COLORADO
I am 27 years old with a 8 year old 1/2 sister. Our father died in January 2016 from a severe brain injury in a homicide case. My step mother refuses to communicate with me, and I would like to have visitation with my 8 year old sister.
Can I file a petition in court for visitation rights to her. She is severely neglected. I get calls from the school regularly as well as she is dropped off at a rural bus stop with no one there to pick her up.
Do I have any rights as a older sibling?
