My question involves paternity law for the State of New York.
AOP signed at the hospital in 2001
Dna testing completed sometime around 2005-2007(unsure at this moment)
The fraternal twins and mother involved made me aware that they know who the biological father is.
He is a dead beat that is/was in NYS corrections when I found out that they knew who the biological father was.
I would like to sue him to force a paternity test.
The goal is to place his name on public record for the birth certificate and future child support payments.
I am willing to deal with any past child support issues as there seems to be no remedy that I am aware of.
Is this goal attainable ?
