My question involves vehicle registration or title in the state of: CA
I unfortunately cosigned for a car and the other "owner" is two months behind on payments. I know the car will be repossessed eventually. I have no contact with him. Because the registration is coming up due for it, if I do not pay the registration on that car will that affect the car I have now when it comes time to register? What about insurance? Renewal is in January and I do not want to put him back on my insurance. How will that affect me?
