My question involves a traffic citation from the state of: My Son was charged by Monterey County Sheriff's for evading and Reckless driving. My son is 18 and was rding his KTM 50 in a 25 approximately 1/4 of a mile. My Son was coming home from the Mall. He did not see or here the Sheriff's until they got closer to him. He pulled over they arrested him took him to jail and impounded his KTM Motorcyle. They put a 30 day hold on the motorcycle. I called the Commander and he said I could not get the motorcyle out of inmpound due to the 30 day hold. I am beside myself when the Commander said that my Son admitted to evading and admitted to seeing and hearing the Sheriff's. My Son did not say anything of the sort that the Sheriff's are putting in there reports. It was only on vehicle that pulled my Son over no back up was called and it's frustrating that I can not get the motorcycle released. No crime scene no one was hurt and my Son did not evade!!!!!
