My question involves civil rights in the State of: SC
We (a group of parents) are in search of someone that can answer some questions for us regarding the safety of our children in Darlington County School District in SC. Several children are being tormented by one child at one school (to include, verbal, physical, and even sexual assault) and we are being told that the child performing the torment is still there because "there is no where to out him". My child was the reason I began researching and talking to other parents. Several parents have been to the county administrators about their children being bullied and assaulted and still, nothing is being done. We are being told time and time again that there is no where to put these kids, even though the administration admits that they know certain children are a problem. What are our rights as to what can be done to protect our children and to make sure that this behavior not only hold consequences, but is not tolerated? Why must our children suffer because the government can't find anywhere to put these kids?
