My question involves a traffic ticket from the state of: Illinois, Village of Wood Dale
I was driving down Lively Blvd and passed a stopped police vehicle. As I passed him, he turned on his emergency lights, signalling me to pull over. When I pulled over and stopped he told me that I was speeding, as the speed limit in this area was 20mph. I had not seen a speed limit sign and told him so. He then gave me a ticket and told me that I could plead guilty and pay a fine of $120 to keep if off of my record.
Subsequently, I returned and shot video and still photographs of the entire route over a week's period of time and there still isn't a speed limit sign posted.
What would you do? Pay the fine or fight the ticket??
